Group coaching for professionals who want to stop surviving work and start thriving at work instead
Your job might be fine on paper.
But perhaps it drains more of your mental energy than you'd like. Perhaps you find it difficult to switch off at the end of the day. Perhaps there's a situation at work that keeps going round and round in your head.
Or perhaps nothing is obviously "wrong", but you have a nagging feeling that work could be a whole lot better than it is.
If so, you might like my group coaching program, The Inside Job.
The program won't fix your boss, give you tactical career advice or tell you what to do with your life. But it will help you see your working life with fresh eyes so work can start working with you instead of against you.
You don't have to wait for work to change
How we experience work isn't solely determined by what happens at work.
I know it doesn't always look this way. I know it looks like our workload, our colleagues or the job itself needs to change before we can feel differently about work.
And perhaps some of those things really do need to change. Perhaps your boss is difficult. Perhaps your workload is ridiculous. Perhaps you are in the wrong job.
But you could get a new boss tomorrow and in three months you'd have a brand new list of things that annoy you about them. You could get on top of your workload and immediately start worrying about what's next. You could even change jobs and discover that some of the stuff you thought you were leaving behind has come with you.
One of the most freeing things I've learned is how much my experience of work can change even when my circumstances don't.
That doesn't mean never changing your circumstances. Sometimes changing them makes perfect sense.
It just means you don't need work to change to enjoy your job more.
It really is an inside job.
So how does The Inside Job work?
We meet twelve times a year (roughly once a month) for a one hour group coaching session on Zoom.
The next call will be at 7.30pm UK time (2.30pm EDT, 11.30am PDT) on 2nd September.
For the rest of the year, the calls will run at 7.30pm UK time on 1st October, 28th October, 26th November and 16th December.
I kick off the calls with a short thought, story or idea. Then I coach 1:1 in front of the group and we see where the conversation takes us.
So there's no pre-set syllabus. Instead, what you bring to the call becomes the syllabus.
The thing about group coaching is that you don't have to be coached to get something from it.
Often you'll hear yourself in someone else's question. And even though their circumstances might be completely different to yours, you'll recognise the same pattern in your own working life.
That's where the biggest "aha!" moments can come from.
That's also why there's no obligation to speak or be coached. You're more than welcome to turn up, listen and take whatever you take from the conversation.
What do you get?
When you join The Inside Job, you get:
- One live 60-minute group coaching call every month, giving you a regular opportunity to pause, take stock and see your working life more clearly
- The chance to be coached by me on your own real-life situation for a fraction of the price of 1:1 coaching
- The opportunity to listen to other people being coached and recognise the same patterns in your own working life
- A recording of every session (so you don't miss out if you can't make a call live)
The investment for The Inside Job is $20 a month.
There's no long-term commitment. If the program stops being useful to you, simply cancel your subscription.
If you're looking for someone to tell you whether to quit your job, fix your boss or give you a 17-step system for career success, The Inside Job probably isn't for you.
But if you'd like a regular opportunity to step out of the noise, see your working life more clearly and have a better experience of work without waiting for everything around you to change first, it might be.
Here's where to go to sign up:
I'd love to see you on the inside.
